Allied Telesyn's AT-8000 series of Fast Ethernet switches provides exceptional performance, ease of use and flexibility at an affordable price. Designed to switch heavy multicast and broadcast traffic effortlessly, the AT-8000 series supports an 800K multicast or broadcast packet replication rate, 50K multicast packet forwarding rate and up to 10 IGMP leaves and joins per second. More performance enhancing features include broadcast storm control and auto-negotiation on all ports. When high performance is required choose any combination of the AT-8000 series models to deliver what you need when you need it. Ideally suited for small and medium businesses, hotels, schools and universities, the AT-8000 series offers outstanding flexibility and scalability. Choose from copper or fiber switches and fixed or expandable configurations. The AT-8024M and AT-8016F are equipped with two expansion bays that can be populated with 100FX, 10/100/100T, 1000SX or 1000LX modules. All AT-8000 series models support the Allied Telesyn signature feature Enhanced Stacking, which enables up to 24 switches, 576 10/100TX ports, to be remotely managed by a single IP address. Although the AT-8000 series can be used as a plug-and-play device, an extensive range of management features is provided at no additional charge. Management features include web-based interface, command line interface, SNMP, and Telnet. Management is available through any tagged or untagged VLAN. Firmware and configuration files may be uploaded or downloaded through TFTP, XMODEM or Enhanced Stacking. Richly equipped with features normally only found on higher priced products, the AT-8000 series supports Rapid Spanning Tree, RADIUS, TACACS+, VLAN tagging and more. Bandwidth-hungry networks can streamline traffic with the two priority queues found in the IEEE 802.1p prioritization feature. High traffic points can be addressed with the IEEE 802.1ad link aggregation feature supporting up to four 10/100TX ports or two 1000FX ports.
